Dear Leslie,
I saw you at a Cashflow game not too long ago and you asked me to write about my experiences I’ve had using the Jack Rabbit Factor [and The Law of Attraction]. I’ve only used it twice, but it sure did help.
The first time I used The Law of Attraction was right after I’d read your book. We were at one of Kevin Spark’s Cashflow games in Mesa, AZ…. The speaker was Phil Lechter and at that time he worked for the Rich Dad Poor Dad Company. We are really into RDPD. We were just walking out after the game and thinking how cool it would be to be part of the RDPD Co. when all of the sudden a light bulb flashed on over my Dad’s head. He asked us, “I wonder if they have Ambassadors,” and that was the only hint we needed. We rushed back into the game and asked Phil if the company had any Ambassadors. He said they did not and that they would love two bright girls to do the job. We went home that night all happy and peppy. We followed up the next day by calling the RDPD office and arranged the next steps and then started waiting. Nothing happened. We called many times and received the same answer each time, “Don’t worry we are working on it sweetie, be patient.” So one day, I wrote down on a piece of paper, “I am so happy and grateful that I am now a Rich Dad Poor Dad Ambassador” I don’t remember the exact date but good things started to happen! I posted the note on my bedroom door and every day when I woke up, I read the note out loud and went on with my daily routine. After a couple weeks, the call came from RDPD came and they said they wanted to us to come in and speak to them. Things just started going up the road after that. What I think is really cool is that the date they called was the day after my date I wrote on my goal!!
The second time I used The Law of Attraction was right after my rabbit died. I wanted a new pet to fill in the emptiness. After lots of research, I decided a parakeet was the perfect pet. Well, my Mom and Dad did not approve, but that did not make me give up. I dew pictures of parakeets, I read even more books about parakeets, I looked in pet stores for parakeets, and I made countless deals with my parents. None of this worked other than to show them how much I really wanted a parakeet. One day I started saying things like “When I get my bird, I think his cage should go right here.” I even wrote a note that went over my bed so whenever I woke up I would read, “I’ve got a parakeet and his name is Floren. Thank you”
In the end, with lots of pushing and prodding, I got a parakeet for my birthday on July 31 and I named him Floren. It took over a half year of hard work, but it paid off.
I have used the Jack Rabbit Factor to get two things that really changed my life. Thank you for providing this great resource.
